Man Arrested near Obama’s House after a Gun Was Found in His Car
Omhari Sengstacke, 31, of Chicago, was arrested on Tuesday after he had come near the security barriers outside Barack Obama’s house. According to the U.S. Secret Service, Sengstacke is part of an important Chicago family and he had never wanted to hurt the Democratic presidential candidate.

Sengstacke was arrested at about 6:30 a.m. and he seemed to have been intoxicated. Yet, he was not armed when the cops put him the handcuffs. But the police found a gun and a bulletproof in his car which was parked nearby the South Side house. Sengstacke’s brother said that he “seriously doubts” that Omhari would have wanted to kill Obama.

Also his family said that they have "passionate support" for Obama and that Sengstacke "had no intent to harm neither Obama nor his family." They added that a proof of his mistaken actions was that he hadn’t had a gun with him when he approached Obama’s house. But the police charged Sengstacke of misdemeanor criminal trespassing for approaching security barriers near Obama's home.

Sengstacke had previous charges of theft for stealing a cell phone and forgery for trying to use a fake traveler's check, but he received probation for both.

Still, a police spokesman said that "there are probably hundreds of people a day who are in, near or at that checkpoint (around Obama's house) who have a weapon in their car that they're not supposed to have. Even with the knowledge of that, our information that we received did not make him any more of a threat."
