Parents-to-be Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are finally ready to say their ‘I Do’s and make their relationship official.

The happy news comes just a little soon after the sexy actress confirmed the pregnancy and the paternity of the child (Was there any doubt? Little chance.) Apart from the confirmation of the news by Alba’s rep, Brad Cafarelli, no further details were disclosed. “I can confirm that they are engaged,” he said.

It’s not as if nobody spotted the diamond ring on her left ring finger and the news is taking everybody by surprise. Au contraire, the two were photographed shopping for a mattress, kissing and caressing continuously. And the next step into getting all official was felt to be really close and Christmas seems to have been the perfect timing for Warren to pop the big question.

The couple met in 2004 on the set of the movie “The Fantastic Four,” where she was impersonating an invisible wielder of force fields and Warren was the director’s assistant. The 26-year old Jessica Alba and the 28-year old Cash Warren have been since then together, forming a happy couple.

If you miss Alba, you may see her in the thriller “Awake” that has been recently launched or you can wait a bit longer until the release of the ongoing movies “The Eye” and “The Love Guru.” Also there is some possibility to see her perform on Broadway, reportedly making her debut in the rendition of “Speed-the-Plow.”
