Actress Kirsten Dunst has been overwhelmed by her own party
habit, as it seems. The 25-year old “Spiderman” star has checked into rehab, as
a source has confirmed to “People” magazine.
Dunst has been admitted in the exclusive Cirque Lodge
Treatment Center
in Utah, the
same facility that provided treatment to Lindsay Lohan in August and to Eva
Mendes, who has recently checked in.
The motif that determined the actress to enter rehab haven’t
been disclosed and but several media sources link it to the hectic nights she
had the last week. It appears that Dunst broke her own party record at the
Sundance Film Festival, where she had fun with Josh Hartnett at Hyde Lounge.
The actress seemed rather erratic at the event, but some considered that as
being part of her habitual party behavior.
“She was in a big group of friends and they were dancing
their asses off by their table. They looked like they were having a great time
and they were getting pretty crazy,” a source told after the party.
But Dunst missed her own “Glamour” magazine party the next
day and questions began to be risen.
“Star” magazine, which was the first to report Dunst’s
admission in rehab, described the actress as acting erratically and in tears,
when she arrived at the rehabilitation facility in Utah.
Her representative could be reached for comment or
confirmation.
Kirsten Dunst is best known as Mary Jane, her character of
the “Spiderman” movie. She made herself remarked at Hollywood when she was only 12, with the role
of Claudia in the Pitt-Cruise thriller “Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire
Chronicles.” She was also seen in “Mona Lisa Smile,” “Eternal Sunshine Of The
Spotless Mind” or “Marie Antoinette” in 2006.
