All of you may have found out by now about Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, who exchanged vows in The Bahamas, also about Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller’s wedding due to take place on May 30 and last but not least about Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s engagement. The last couple has decided to rush things a little bit…a little bit more, probably.

Rumors about the two heading the aisle next week popped out of the Internet. The alleged wedding is said to take place in California on May 16. Of course, the couple intended to keep it all a secret, but some sources revealed their hidden plans. According to the Gossip Web site Hollyscoop.com Simpson and Wentz have already sent invitations to friends and family inviting them to the biggest event in the young couple’s life.

The Web site revealed some statements of a source who said that "The location will not be revealed until the day of the wedding but guests are told it will be an hour drive from Los Angeles."

Ashlee and Pete have been dating since late 2006 and they announced their engagement in early April after a few months of speculations. Later on, some rumors about the 23-year-old sister of Jessica Simpson being pregnant raised the attention pf the public. The alleged child is due to be born in October. As for Ashlee’s elder sister, Jessica is ready to give up her scene clothes for a maid of honor outfit.
