Jessica Alba was “taken.” The 27-year-old
actress married her longtime boyfriend Cash Warren on Monday. The couple, who
have a baby girl on the way, became engaged in late December.
They met on the set of the “The Fantastic
Four” in 2005, where Warren
worked as director’s assistant.
Jessica Alba, 27, and Cash Warren, 31,
exchanged vows during a low-key ceremony in a Beverly Hills courthouse.
Their wedding was a quiet affair. Under an
arch of green silk foliage and white flowers, the lovers were casually dressed;
Jess wore a long blue dress and her hair back in a ponytail and Cash wore a
white shirt and brown pants.
The ceremony was discrete and so it was
their first meeting, when Alba said jokingly she didn’t felt that Warren was her
“soulmate,” but thought “Oh, I’m going to know you for the rest of my life.”
“She looked happy but nervous,” a source
said, quoted by People.com.
In an April interview Alba said she didn’t
plan her pregnancy, but she admitted she was “excited for motherhood. “I think
it's the best thing in the world that could have ever happened,” the actress
said, adding that she wanted to have a baby before the age of 31.
Alba rose to fame with the television
series “Dark Angel” (2000-2002). She later appeared in various films such as
“Honey” (2003), “Sin
City” (2005), “Fantastic
Four” (2005), “Into the Blue” (2005), “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver
Surfer” (2007) and “Good Luck Chuck” (2007). Alba's most recent appearances
have been the thriller “Awake,” the romantic comedy “Good Luck Chuck” and “The
Ten.”
Jessica Alba is considered one of the
“sexiest” women in the world. She was No. 1 to FHM readers last year and
reached No.3 this year.
