New iPhone Revolutionizes the Mobile Phone Concept
The new features that Cupertino based Apple Inc has managed to cram into its latest product seem to make it a device that has all the chances of revolutionizing the hole concept of what a mobile phone should be like. And to support this idea, Apple has opened an online store, called App Store where third party developers get the chance to sell the applications they have created for the device.

It seems that games will be one of the fastest developing fields as to what applications for the iPhone 3G are concerned. The accelerometer and the touchscreen that the device offers are ideal tools for game developers who can benefit of them to create new ways by which users can control their characters during gameplay.

Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers have already created a $100 million fund for developers of applications that will run on the new iPhone. The money will be used to help the companies that come on the market with new ideas to get the most out of them.

According to the Business Journal website, John Doerr, from Kleiner Perkins said that "a revolutionary new platform is a rare and prized opportunity for entrepreneurs, and that's exactly what Apple has created with iPhone and iPod touch. We think several significant new companies will emerge as this new platform evolves, and the iFund will empower them to realize their full potential."

Already game developers such as Electronic Arts or Gameloft have rushed to create games for the mobile phone that will be released in the United States on Friday.
