Guy Ritchie’s marriage to Madonna “is fine,” as far as he is aware of, the film director told People in a recent interview. He denied rumors that their marriage is on the rocks. Ritchie, 39, who joined the cast of his upcoming directorial effort “RocknRolla’ on Thursday afternoon at the San Diego International Comic-Con, also spoke about how his wife helped him see London with fresh eyes. “I was born there and I've seen it change and I know a great deal about it, I'm invested,” Guy Ritchie said. “I live vicariously through my wife, so I was once a spy and now I've become a tourist, and it's much more fun to live in London as a tourist than it is as a spy.” He said Madonna had allowed him to look at his hometown of London with the eyes of a tourist. Madonna moved from the US to the UK when the couple wed in 2000. While Madonna is rehearsing for her upcoming “Sticky & Sweet” tour, Ritchie is currently promoting his new movie “RocknRolla,” which stars Gerard Butler as a street-smart mobster, along with Thandie Newton, Jeremy Piven and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges. The action film, which was filmed in his hometown of London, is scheduled for an Octomber release. The 39-year-old British director’s next movie, “Sherlock Holmes,” which stars Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes is slated for release in 2010.
