The mission of the paparazzi at the golden couple’s French chateau ended with a confrontation between the camouflage-wearing photographers who were trying to get pictures of Pitt’s new twins and Brangelina’s bodyguards.

Both sides have filed legal complaints, accusing each other of battery and causing injury and one of the photographers also filed complaints for illegal detention and arrest, the Associated Press reports.

The altercation between freelancers Luc Goursolas and Marianne Saint-Arroman and the bodyguards for Pitt and Angelina Jolie marked the first time Jolie and Pitt called for help since moving the Chateau Miraval estate where the couple are staying following the birth of their twins earlier this month.

“We caught the two and tried to escort them off the property, and the guy's just gone berserk, thrashing out, kicking and actually biting one of the security people, breaking his finger, drawing blood and screaming that he had Hepatitis C,” Tony Webb, head of the team guarding the Hollywood stars' French estate told Reuters.

Goursolas confirmed that he fought with guards and that he broke one guard's finger and bit another, drawing blood, but he insisted it was in self defense. He said the guards kicked and hit him with a walkie-talkie. He was pouring blood and he threw himself at them, trying to put blood all over them and told them that he has HIV so they would stop hitting him.

The couple and the kids, 6-year-old Maddox, 4-year-old Pax, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2 moved into the chateau on the French Riviera with 35 bedrooms, a vineyard, lake, forest and moat earlier this year, looking for a quiet place surrounded by forest that would protect them from curious eyes.
