Nokia Unveiled New Magic Services and Gadgets
The Finnish company Nokia Corp. represents the world’s largest mobile phone-maker, but despite this fact Apple’s devices and services have obviously represented a major challenge for the Finnish company.  But this has got to an end, as Nokia has unveiled yesterday several brand new services and devices that are to help its customers to download music, play games and have access to similar entertainment sources on their mobile phones.

The Finnish company’s new products represent a striking move against its old American rival Apple and this one’s iTunes application, iPod and iPhone devices. On the other hand Nokia’s recent releases means also that the high-end markets are more and more requiring multitask devices that incorporate audio, video, photo and more capabilities, as well as quick access to the Internet.

So, Nokia has announced the opening of its new web services through the new web site OVI, which means “door” in Finnish, that will be an online music store providing the users with millions of songs and albums from major labels. People will be able to buy the downloadable tracks and to play them on their devices. The new services will even enable the music to be transferred from PCs to compatible handsets. Furthermore the users will also be offered the opportunity to play and download N-Gage games on their mobile phones, as Nokia has also revived its N-Gage service.

Nokia has also announced new top-range mobile phone models, including 5-megapixel cameras with Carl Ziess lens and memory of up to 8 GB, which will cost between $300 and $750.

Through all these moves Nokia is to regain its dominance on the market and to become a real rival for Apple’s smart devices and services.
