C-Rod files for divorce in Miami saying that she couldn’t bear her husband’s acting anymore. She accuses him of extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct. “Alex has emotionally abandoned his wife and children and has left her with no choice but to divorce him,” said the petition filed in Miami Dade County.

Alex Rodriguez doesn’t want to discuss his marriage or reports that had linked him with pop-star Madonna, although papers didn’t cite the names of the women with whom Cynthia suspected Alex Rodriguez of having affairs.

Although Madonna denied her having any affair with C-Rod, he has been photographed with a woman who was not his wife while he was travelling with the Yankees.

The two married back in November 2, 2002, in Dallas, Texas, and have been married for 5 years and a half, when Cynthia has had enough of Alex Rodriguez emotional abandonment. She asked for custody of their two children, Natasha, 3-year-old and Ella, 3-month-old.

C-Rod wants a lot of things from A-Rod, although they signed a prenuptial agreement a month before they were married. Besides the primary custody of their girls, she wants the $12-million Coral Gables, Fla., home, also with alimony, life and health insurance, private school tuition and equitable distribution of assets.

Divorce papers were filed on Monday morning by attorney Maurice Kutner, representing Alex Rodriguez. Cynthia Rodriguez is represented by Anthony Sabato and Kohn Van Ness. It seems that is going to be an ugly divorce!
