Angelina Jolie Already Giving Up Film Career?

It was the time for Angelina Jolie to want more time for her big family. And a celebrity husband and six children to watch over isn’t such an easy job. The Changeling star told BCC that she plans to give up her film career as to have more time for her children, especially when she now has two little babies.

The interview posted on the BBC Web site on Thursday quoted Jolie as saying “I don't plan to keep acting very long, I'm ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day." Together with Brad Pitt, Jolie has three biological children and three adopted children.

In addition, the 33-year-old sexy actress told BBC that she hasn’t been working for a movie in a year. Still, she has signed a contract to start a new project in February, but she said that it will be the last thing she will shoot within another year. Jolie added that maybe this year-from-year break will turn into a break like “once every three years” until she gives up totally.

The actress said that she enjoys staying at home together with the kids.

Jolie made her film debut in 1982 when she played together with her father, Jon Voight, in Lookin’ to Get Out. Her real career began a decade later when she played in the low-budget production Cyborg 2, in 1993. Her biggest role was in 1995 when she shot for Hackers. She also won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Girl, Interrupted from 1999.

She gained an international figure once with Lara Croft. Jolie portrayed the video game heroine in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2001 and since then, she became one of the best-paid actresses from Hollywood.
