New BMW-6 Series Coupe and convertible
BMW has launched a convertible and new coupe of the 6-Series featuring several advanced drive technologies and driver assistance safety systems.

Both the coupe and convertible have strong lines extending from the A-pillars along the engine compartment lid to the BMW kidney grille, forming a dynamic arrow further emphasised by the powerfully chiselled bars in the lower air intake.

For the first time, the two models feature such driver assistance systems as standard adaptive curvature lighting, active speed control and night vision with head-up display. The speed control is fitted with stop-go-functions for slow city traffic and traffic jams. A lane departure warning system has a vibration warning in the steering wheel.

The 635d coupe and 635d convertible come with a three-litre six cylinder diesel motor, designed especially for long-distance travel and emphasizing the sporty character.

BMW claims that it is the most efficient and powerful three-litre six cylinder engine with an output of 210kW/286 hp and a consumption of 6.9 litres per 100 kilometres.

The petrol engine versions feature the second generation of high precision injection with the 630i six cylinder model producing 200 kW/272 hp and an average consumption of 7.9 litres per 100 kilometres.

The 650i eight cylinder motor comes with Valvetronic and a performance of 270kW/367 hp and an average consumption of 12.6 litres/100 kilometres.
