The Revolution of Kindle

Amazon hurried a little when it released the first Kindle device. The e-book reader seemed a little out of hand to be used by everybody and had a likely hard to use software and design. At first, Amazon promised to offer an always-on connection together with a big variety of e-books and a decent reading experience.

Well, the Kindle stopped at the design and interface decisions that were kind of confusing. The set of features which accompanied the Kindle performed so poorly than many believed it was some kind of joke. Thus, several users or enthusiasts of the device skipped Amazon’s offer.

Amazon thus realized the mistakes it had done and decided to correct them by releasing the sequel device of Kindle. But during the time since the first Kindle was released, the company started asking a lot of question about the unsuccessful experience. Many still wonder whether Amazon agreed with the reviewers that there had been many problems with the device before releasing it.

But the time passed so quickly that Amazon already came up with Kindle 2 as to supply all the marks that Kindle lacked in. So the company proved to be opened about listening all the reviews and the critics because they had really made a great device.

At first, the Kindle promised to be a single and compact device which was able to hold a library of material. In addition, you could restock this library by downloading from the Amazon store by wireless connection. The wireless connection should have also brought you the morning paper and the newest blog titles. Kindle promised a battery to last for a week and textual nirvana. How many of you got these by buying the Kindle?

Amazon mixed the jars so what really came out was a design meant to look like a book and very hard to control. The interface of Kindle didn’t seem to be designed by the ones who had promised to design it and the slow page flips together with the small screen made the reading experience on Kindle less interesting than promised.
