Oh, what a shock! Star Jones and Al Reynolds are putting an end on their marriage.

Ever since the two tied the knot, everyone has been talking about their divorce, so Jones’ announcement of divorce came as no surprise to anyone. The former “The View” host announced that she filed the divorce papers a month ago. Her rep also confirmed the news to E! News.

Due to the fact that the divorce papers are sealed, the cause of the split-up remains undisclosed. The intention of ending the three and a half years of marriage was made official at the New York Supreme Court on March 26.

“The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman,” said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight.

The TV star and Reynolds tied the knot in a very high profile lavish wedding corporate sponsored for publicity. The vent was attended by heavy names of the industry, like Donald Trump, Kim Cattrall or Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Divorce rumors have accompanied the marriage since day one and even though the couple has kept a low profile since Jones left truTV in February, no one gave them more credit. Moreover, divorce speculation was augmented even more when recently pics featuring Star Jones and Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade surfaced on the internet.
